more tea vicar?

Last saturday whilst whisking around london before taking Happy to see Hairspray the musical for her birthday, we popped into Borough market, the famous london food market that is frequented by the likes of Jamie Oliver etc…and it is here that we visited Shipps tea rooms. Nice location, nice food but a bit on the pricey side, ie 2 cream teas £15, and the scones were cold! Still it was all presented wonderfully on nice crockery etc, the only problem was that my tea came in this tea pot! I had this same pot once, but cannot find it now, i want it again but cannot remember who made it. Thus blogland your mission if you choose to accept it is, who made this teapot?, and also if you have one , can i buy it.

    Hi Fred,

the place is looking great for Christmas. My daughter is 8 tomorrow and she asked if she could decorate the tree tomorrow….with two other 8 year old friends plus her two older brothers!!! So our tree is going to very, er, busy…fantastic. I was only going to do one tree this year but having seen your place I will have to get the others out.

I tried to be clever and find your teapot for you by googling turqoise gold rose teapot - couldn’t see it in the first 10000 pages but found this

If you can see it, it’s the most gorgeous hair pin in THE colours. If you then go on to the asianicandy store, there’s more really cute things.

    Hope you like it.

Aw should have slipped it in your bag! I’m sure you have another pretty tea pot you could have anonymously posted them as a replacement!! you’ve blown it now they know you’re after it!
Hoping to get my tree tomorrow if the gales abate : (

    hi Fred,
There was a teapot of this sort - pink with roses on the side - in a local charity shop - I looked at it but they were asking about £10 or so which I thought was dear as there was a chip on the spout.
I shall travel to see if it is still available.

I choose to accept the mission but alas I do not own this particular teapot.
I will search high and low for one for you and if I find one or find out the name I will let you know quickly. :) Bren

Hi Fred- I love your style, and have been admiring it for some time from afar. I’m planning a trip to London in March, and I’m wondering if you have any recommendations of shops or markets I should visit for antiques? I’d appreciate any suggestions.

    Thanks
    Hannah

Sooooooooo looking forward to catching up with u and Happy on Fri…esp after feasting my eyes on your gorgeous decs and upside tree!!!

Me thought I was quite hip being the proud owner of a black xmas tree….but sadly no…you and H have surpassed all my feeble efforts to be trendyish….but I am the proud owner of one crotchet red star!!! And… a really really over the top disgusting fluffy pretty (awful) spangly…I think she`s a Tranny….fairy…a cross between Jodie Mars/kelly Brooks..kinda girl…with a bit of Kylie thrown in…lounging with her arms crossed ,legs akimbo on top of said tree…prob wishing she were dead rather than being thrust on the Boasties tree…..being forced to watch Scrubs and Top Gear………………….
